Don’t be afraid! Stagebugz Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for our upcoming teen company production of the hauntingly hilarious new play, Jacqueline Hyde! We are seeking performers ages 10-18 of all backgrounds and experience levels who are ready to explore advanced acting techniques, character work, and comedy for this production.

Auditions will be held from 7-9 PM on Wednesday, August 14th at Columbine United Church. Those unavailable for auditions may submit a video audition. Performers should prepare a 1-2 minute comedic monologue and be prepared to read from the script.

All who sign up are guaranteed a role!

Rehearsals: Wednesdays from 6:15-8 PM, August 21st-October 16th

Tech and Performances: October 23rd-25th

Cost: $195 (Scholarships available- if finances are an issue we will ALWAYS work with you)

About the Show: Freshman Jacqueline Hyde, the great-great granddaughter of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, is starting public school for the first time. But she’s afraid her secret may come out: that she turns into a hideous monster if touched by water! She quickly learns that the students of Hallow City High are anything but “normal”, and something much more sinister is going on. Will Jacqueline be able to stop evil from spreading through her town, or will she succumb to her family’s legacy and become evil herself?
