Evergreen Players is thrilled to announce our spring production of Fireflies. Fireflies is a romantic comedy that tells the story of retired schoolteacher, Eleanor. Eleanor lives a quiet life in a tiny Texas town, set in her routines and secure in her position as the town’s most respected woman – until a hole in her roof draws the attention of Abel Brown, a smooth-talking drifter intent on renovating Eleanor’s house and possibly her life. Can the unexpected sparks of late-life romance be trusted, or is there truth in the gossip that Abel isn’t all that he seems to be? Either way, the whole town talks.
Shows will be held at Evergreen Players Black Box Theatre. Friday & Saturday performances begin at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday matinee performances begin at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults, seniors, and students, and may be purchased online at www.evergreenplayers.org or by calling 720-515-1528. Evergreen Players Black Box Theatre has an intimate setting and seats 30.
