Agape

This play is set during the 2005–2008 Denver housing crisis, this coming-of-age story follows Scooter and Mya, two Black kids growing up in Green Valley Ranch. As families face unstable home ownership and sudden displacement, the two form a powerful trauma bond shaped by survival, loneliness, and the need to be understood. Spanning from childhood to early adulthood, the play explores how environments like Green Valley Ranch can forge deep connections and how those same bonds can blur the line between love, loyalty, and harm.
