List of Show Openings, Postponements and Cancellations in Colorado for April 2020

APRIL SHOW SCHEDULES
Fractured Moonlight – Previously scheduled for a Thursday, April 2nd, 2020 opening – presented by And Toto too Theatre Company at the 1245 Champa Studio in Denver – THIS SHOW’S OPENING HAS BEEN POSTPONED AND RESCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 2020

Silent Sky – Was slated to open on Thursday, April 2nd, 2020 at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. THE PRODUCTION HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED.

Camelot – Was previously scheduled to open on Friday, April 3rd, 2020 at Steel City Theatre Company in Pueblo – as of 3-18-2020 they are were planning to open as scheduled. Due to this week’s Governor’s announcement for staying in place, this show has probably been postponed until further notice. Check with the theatre.

Almost Heaven – Was supposed to open on Friday, April 3rd, 2020 at the Town Hall Arts Center in Littleton – THIS PRODUCTION HAS BEEN POSTPONED – TOWN HALL IS CLOSED UNTIL MAY.

Way to Heaven was slated to open on April 2nd, 2020 at Bas Bleu Theatre in Fort Collins. ALL shows have been CANCELLED through May 27th, 2020.

Dixie’s Never Wear A Tube Top While Riding A Mechanical Bull – OPENS Wednesday, April 8th, 2020 at The Garner Galleria Theatre at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts – THIS SHOW HAS POSTPONED ITS OPENING AND MAY BE RESCHEDULED IN THE FUTURE (CHECK the DCPA WEBSITE).

Choir Boy – was scheduled to open on Friday, April 10th, 2020 at The Denver Center Theatre Company – THIS SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED (announcement was made on 3-19-2020). NOTE: The Denver Center is closed through May 11th, 2020.

Something Rotten! – was scheduled to open on Friday, April 10th, 2020 at The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities – THIS SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Oslo – was supposed to open on Thursday, April 16th, 2020 presented by Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (BETC) at the Dairy Arts Center – THIS SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Disney’s Freaky Friday – was supposed to open on Friday, April 17th, 2020 at The Aurora Fox Arts Center – THIS SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Shakespeare In LoveIS SCHEDULED TO OPEN on Friday, April 17th, 2020 at Vintage Theatre in Aurora. Check website for updates.

Grace & Glorie – was supposed to open on Friday, April 17th, 2020 presented by Cherry Creek Theatre at The Mizel Arts and Culture Center in the Pluss Theatre – This opening has been POSTPONED from April 17th until August. Updates to come.

The Phlebotomist – was supposed to open on Saturday, April 18th, 2020 presented by Benchmark Theatre at The Bench at 40 West Arts – POSTPONED – WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR THE FALL OF 2020.

Always, Patsy ClineIS SCHEDULED TO OPEN Sunday, April 19th, 2020 at Candlelight Dinner Playhouse – Candlelight expects to have a return to operations by April 17th, 2020. (announced on 3-17-2020). Check website for updates.

45 Plays for 45 Presidents IS SCHEDULED TO OPEN on Friday, April 24th, 2020 presented by Lost & Found Productions at the Evanston Center

Men on Boats – Was slated to open on April 24th, 2020 at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. THIS PRODUCTION HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
