Visionbox Studio will have Season 14 auditions and interviews on September 3rd and 4th from 5-9pm at 7108 E. Lowry Blvd, Denver, CO 80230. Please submit picture and resume to info@visionbox.org to set up a 15 minute slot. Actors should prepare 2 monologues, one contemporary and one Shakespeare verse. In addition to our ongoing class sequences and productions, we are developing a new Playwrights and Directors Lab. All interested playwrights, directors, and designers, please submit materials and CV to info@visionbox.org to set up an interview. Fall classes include Chekhov, Ibsen, and Strindberg, American Classical Realism, and Shakespeare. 

Upcoming productions in development include: The Queer Theatre Project: A series of three new gay plays endorsed by Bonfils-Stanton with an opening event hosted by celebrity actor David Hyde Pierce, American Addict: A devised piece by Jennifer McCray Rincón and the Visionbox Ensemble, and The Othello Project: An adaptation of Shakespeare’s Othello focusing on domestic violence. Equity actors are hired under equity workshop contracts and non-equity actors are paid fees beginning at $500 per workshop production.
