Call for Directors – Rent

Vintage Theatre is seeking a director for our 2027 production of Jonathan Larson’s RENT.

RENT is schedule to run May 8 – June 6, 2027.  Rehearsals will begin around March 22nd.

The deadline for submission is July 20th. 

Your proposal should include:

Tell us about you

We want to know who you are and who you are as a director.

Your vision for your production of Rent 

Is this a traditional staging?  Is there anything unique we should know about your approach?

Potential Production Team

Let us know if there are specific designers you would like to work with.

Your resume 

Send us your directing resume or tell us about your experience.

Pay for the director is $1,400.
