Directors for the 2023 – 2024 Season

Vintage Theatre is currently accepting applications from directors for the mainstage season.

Looking for directors for the following shows:

Cadillac Crew by Tori Sampson
Black Nativity by Langston Hughes
The Legend of Georgia McBride by Matthew Lopez
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee by William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin
Fun Home by Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron
The Hombres by Tony Meneses

Pay for directors is $1,250 (payable on opening night). We are unable to provide travel or housing.

We are not able to provide copies of scripts.

Applications accepted until June 22nd.  Interviews could start as soon as applications begin arriving.

How to Apply

Please email Artistic Director Bernie Cardell at berniecardell@vintagetheatre.org with the following:

-The title you are interested in directing and what draws you to that show.
-Briefly describe your vision for the piece.
-Some background on your directing experience. If you have a directing resume, pls include.
-Contact information for two references.

You are welcome to apply for as many shows as you like.
