Vintage Theatre Announces auditions

A Regional Premiere by Colman Domingo
Directed by Mykai Eastman

Statement of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion:

Vintage Theatre gratefully acknowledges the original stewards of our location, the Native American Tribes of the Ute, Cheyenne and Arapaho, on whose ancestral homes we gather.

We recognize that theatre can be a force for change; it can entertain, educate, heal, reflect and repair. The importance of welcoming narratives and experiences that differ from those we’ve been privy to cannot be understated, and we believe we have a firm duty to our patrons and community to be proactive and mindful in acknowledging identities unlike our own, as well as reflecting the times and communities that hold space in and around Vintage Theatre.

We have been and will continue to be committed to including the voices of everyone within Vintage Theatre. We will manage Vintage Theatre in a manner that embraces equity, diversity and inclusion, and to recognize and embrace underrepresented voices and viewpoints in a manner that honors their legacy, tradition and future.

This twisted and hilarious new play grapples unflinchingly with aging parents, midlife crises, and the heart of a West Philly neighborhood.
