The Yuletide Carolers are seeking submissions for their Denver-based 2023 holiday season. Seeking Sopranos, Altos, Basses and Tenors. Ages 20-50. Classic and light-legit sight-singers preferred. Seeking singers of all ethnicities. Quartets sing a repertoire of approximately 50 songs. Eleven of which are memorized for strolling from location to location at a job.

The Yuletide Carolers are the largest and longest-running professional caroling company in the US, with groups in New York, New Jersey, Denver, Nashville, and South Florida. We are often featured on TV and cater to high-profile parties and events. The Yuletide Carolers

Requirements:

• Attend 4 unpaid Denver-based rehearsals in October & November.
• • Sunday October 8 @ 2-6pm (4hrs)
  • Sunday October 15 @ 2-6pm (4hrs)
  • Monday November 6 @ 6-10pm (4hrs)
  • Wednesday November 15 @ 6-10pm (4hrs)
• Availability (or the ability to be flexible with your schedule) from Thanksgiving through Christmas as jobs occur frequently during that time period, with heaviest demand early evenings on weekdays and day & evenings on weekends.
• Availability Christmas Eve and Day are a major plus.
• Access to a Car, and willing to drive to many locations around the Denver Metro area (anything outside the 50 mile radius of the downtown Metro area will include travel compensation).
• Singers should be stylistically flexible, have a very strong sense of intonation for tight harmony and blend, memorization skills, and the ability to sight read music. We are looking for performers who can interact with the audience, while being able to read a room of party goers.

*Rehearsal & Performance availability will be a major factor in the decision making for our upcoming 2023 season.

Submission Instructions:

Deadline for Submissions no later than September 30th

1. Submit a link to an audition video of two short contrasting holiday songs sung acapella with headshot and resume.
2. Subject lines should read YOUR NAME – VOICE PART.
3. Rate your sight-singing abilities from 1-10 (10 being expert)
4. Do you have access to a car?
5. State your general availability from October – December (more specifics will be requested upon being called back)
6. Are you willing to sing on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? (pay is time & a half from 5pm xmas eve to 5pm xmas day)
