WHEN AND WHERE ARE AUDITIONS?

Auditions and technical position interviews are on May 10th & 17th from 4:30pm to 10:00pm at the Carsen Theater in the  Dairy Arts Center, 2590 Walnut Street, in Boulder.

Actors should register for an audition day at https://forms.gle/TA7yPZm2zzydJ2oC9 beforehand with a recent headshot and resume. Prepare a one to two minute Shakespearean monologue. We encourage you to choose a piece that best showcases your skills and range. In addition, please be prepared to read assigned scenes opposite other auditioners.

Players who, as spirits, take the roles of Iris, Ceres, Juno, Nymphs, and
Reapers in Prospero’s masque, and who, in other scenes, take the roles of
“islanders” and of hunting dogs.

*Most characters we encounter in classical theatre are on the binary and are written with he/him or she/her pronouns. However,  our casting seeks to be as inclusive as possible and we invite gender non-conforming, genderqueer, transgender and non-binary actors to submit for the roles they most identify with. We will also list race/ethnicity when specific to the character but are otherwise seeking all races and ethnicities. REHEARSALS/PERFORMANCE

Rehearsals: 7pm-10pm Mondays – Thursdays, beginning Monday, July 17th  at  The Natural Funeral Home, 102 W Chester Street in Lafayette.

Performances: Tech is Monday-Wednesday September 4 – 6.  Performances are Thursday – Sunday September 7 – 17 at the Dairy Arts Center, 2590 Walnut Street, in Boulder.

Thursday through Saturday performances begin at 7:30pm. Sunday performances are 2pm matinees.
