Hiring a Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) Musical Theater Teacher.

‍The Program:  Youngest Performers Programs – These half-day programs are the perfect introduction to theater play for ages 5-9. Young performers will learn foundational skills in acting/vocals/dance that they will showcase on the last day of each program!

ENCANTO! Welcome to the family Madrigal! This modern musical adventure became a quick favorite because of it’s irresistibly funny and touching songs. Let’s explore this magical world together through creative play, movement, and song. At the end of the week students will lead a sing-a-long with family and friends.

‍Monday, June 26 – Friday, June 30, 2023 from 9:00am-12:00pm

‍There will be a short final performance on Friday ending approx 12pm. Depending on program size an assistance teacher will be provided.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

The Teaching Artist role is the lead in the classroom and collaborates with the Asst-Teaching Artist on planning and program implementation.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

They share their experiences and knowledge to educate students in both practice and theory of their art-form and empower students to continue to grow in their art-form and in their communities in a classroom/studio environment. They are experienced in creating safe learning spaces where students are inspired to explore and express themselves.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

2 year minimum experience teaching group classes.

5 year minimum experience performing.

‍PAY: $525 ($35hrly teaching time)
