Auditions

Auditions for adult performers will take place on July 14, 2026 between 10 AM and 6 PM.

Youth performers will audition via video submission by June 30, 2026.

Audition Requirements:

Adult Performers:

Please prepare the following the following:

    •    One 30-second (or 16 bars) vocal selections in the style of the show.

    •    Sheet music with the appropriate key and cuts.

    •    A 1-minute monologue in the style of th show.

    •    Headshot and resume.

    •    A list of conflicts with the production calendar.

Dancers should bring character shoes or heels (heels are preferred for female-presenting dance call) and tap shoes. 

Young Performers:

Please prepare one video with the following:

    •    A 30-second song selection in the style of the show

    •    One 60-second monologue in the style of the show.

    •    Headshot, if available.

Important: All videos must be unlocked for viewing by anyone with the link, not just mailto:kate@coloradocandlelight.com.

Callback Information

Callbacks will take place on July 15 by invitation only. Performers that are invited to a callback may be given material to prepare.

Pay Rates- Young Professionals 17 and younger $50 one time rehearsal pay, $15/ per performance 

Adults 18 and older 

$800 One Time Rehearsal Pay 

Pay starts at $69 per performance and increases based on the number of full production runs you have completed at The Candlelight 

1st production- $69/ performance 

3rd Production $72 / performance 

5th Production $78/ performance 

10th Production $84 / performance
