Musicians for Holiday Inn

Candlelight is seeking musicians for our upcoming production of Holiday Inn!
We are looking for the following instruments:
-2 Keyboards
-Drums/Percussion
-Bass (Acoustic)
-Trumpet
-Trombone
-2 Reeds
We will be auditioning for both primary players and substitute positions. Video submissions are due Friday, August 14th. Please include a resume and any conflicts with rehearsals or performances. Please submit materials and any questions to our Artistic Director, Kate Vallee: kate@coloradocandlelight.com
Video Requirements:
Please submit two- 1 minute selections in the style of the music of the show, Holiday Inn. All video submissions should be unlocked as to allow multiple creative team members to view the submitted videos.
*Reeds – Please submit a 1-3 minute video showcasing skill on piccolo, flute, clarinet, or saxophone. Include in your submission which of these instruments you have access to: piccolo, flute, alto flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto sax, tenor sax, bari sax.
Pay at the Candlelight:
Rehearsal Stipend is $500 for rehearsals listed below.
Show pay starts at $69 per performance, and increases to $84 per show based on the number of full production runs performed at Candlelight. Sub musicians are paid a learning fee and required to observe at least one performance. Though we recognize our sub musicians are not on call, they will be our first call should we need a sub for an emergency during production dates, and subs may be scheduled for performing in multiple production dates.

Sitzprobe: Fri 11/20 6-10:30 pm
Run #1: Sat 11/21 6-10:30 pm
Run #2: Sun 11/22 1-10:30pm
Run #3: Tues 11/24 6-10:30pm
Preview: Wed 11/25 7 pm call
The show runs November 27th-January 17th. There are no shows on Nov 26th, Dec 24th, Dec 25th, or Jan 1st.
