Auditions for SWEENEY TODD at The Arts HUB

The Arts HUB is thrilled to host auditions for its upcoming production of Sweeney Todd.

 

This production is being led by the following creative team:

Director & Choreographer: Tracy Warren

Music Director: Brandon Warren

Stage Manager: Issy Leustig

Assistant Stage Manager: Abbie Mayfield

Technical Director: Nathan Dow

Audition Material:

Please prepare a song cut (either from the show or your own selection) that is 45 seconds – 1.5 minutes in length.

Callback material will be sent out in October to those signed up in order to give auditionees as much time to practice as possible.

Callbacks will be held on November 19th from 6:00-10:00.

Character Breakdown:

All roles will be cast age appropriately. We will be single casting, with understudies.

Anthony Hope: F4-Bb2, presenting 18-25

Sweeney Todd: Gb4-F2, presenting 35-50

Beggar Woman: F5-Ab3, presenting 35-50

Mrs. Lovett: E5-G3, presenting 35-50

Judge Turpin: Gb4-E2, presenting 40-60

The Beadle: D5-D3, presenting 30+

Johanna: A5-Bb3, presenting 18-25

Tobias Ragg: Bb4-Bb2, presenting 15-25

Pirelli: C5-B2, presenting 25-40

Ensemble: We’re looking for an ensemble of 15-18 trained vocalists who are interested in performing intricate music. We recommend auditioners avoid referencing the cast recording and instead prepare any show material according to the written score.
