Youth Auditions: Mary Poppins (Ages 10-16)

Website Stagebugz Theatre
Stagebugz Theatre is proud to announce our 2023 summer camp production of “Mary Poppins!”
Show Description: George and Winifred Banks live at 17 Cherry Tree Lane with their two misbehaved children, Jane and Michael. When they hire “practically perfect” nanny Mary Poppins, the whole family’s lives are about to be turned around. Performers ages 10-16 are invited to join Mary, her chimney sweep friend Bert, and a host of lovable characters in this heartwarming story of kindness, family, and a little bit of magic!
During this two-week summer camp, artists of all levels will grow their skills as multi-faceted performers, working on a variety of techniques such as harmonies, dialects, and even tap dancing. And, of course, camp sessions will include plenty of theatre games, special interest workshops, and bonding time for a can’t-miss experience!
Audition Information: Auditions will be held on the first day of camp: June 19th, 2023. Auditions will be run workshop-style and will consist of learning a short song and dance from the show and cold readings of the script. All campers are guaranteed a substantial role with at least one solo and one line that will allow them to show off their talent and grow as performers.
