The Salida Theater Project (STP) seeks a part-time Executive Director to oversee development, operations/administration and volunteer relations. The Executive Director will be a key member of the administrative team (Artistic Director and Director of Communications and Marketing) and will report to the STP Board.  The ideal candidate will have experience in grant writing, fundraising, and non-profit administration.

Key Responsibilities:
DEVELOPMENT:
– Meet revenue goals (including operations, productions and ED salary) through grant writing and fundraising
– Develop and execute strategies for Colorado Gives campaign; cultivate business and corporate partnerships and sponsorships
– Develop and oversee processes for donor management

OPERATIONS/ADMINISTRATION
Help shape long-range strategy, including earned-income growth, facility needs, audience development, staffing, and succession planning.
·      Establish clear organizational priorities, timelines, and accountability systems, ensuring that work align with STP’s strategic plan
– Oversee the development, management, and monitoring of the budget and prepare monthly written reports to the Board
– Ensure the organization is financially stable, legally compliant, and well managed.
·- Attend monthly Board meetings and provide comprehensive ED reports on operations, fundraising, and volunteer management

VOLUNTEER RELATIONS
– Recruit and manage volunteers
– Set up a system to oversee and recognize volunteers

REQUIRED SKILLS
– Strong financial literacy, including budgets, cash flow, accounting reports, and nonprofit financial controls.
– Non-profit fundraising and grant management
– Strategic leadership, analytical, and an organized, systems-oriented approach to administration
– Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

– Technological proficiency with basic tools such as Excel, Google workspace, MailChimp, and familiarity with donor management software desired
– Ability to travel to community events and designated meetings in Chaffee County
– Ability to work a flexible schedule, including selected evenings, weekends, opening nights, and donor events
 
Part-time: 20 hrs/week, exempt position
Pay:  Base annual salary of $35,000
Hybrid- Remote/In person
