Website ROSHNI

We are a community-based Performing Arts non-profit organization, based in North Aurora and use diverse Arts activities to work with the underserved local community comprising of refugee/immigrant populations, specifically women and youth. Through our Art programs and events, we aspire to promote empathy and racial equity in the Performing Arts.

We are thrilled to start a pilot program called ‘Sew and Sing’, with the intention to promote positive well-being and an increased sense of self-worth and connection among newly arrived refugee/asylee women who may experience isolation due to sociocultural and language barriers.

We are thus looking for childcare personnel, who can creatively engage their toddlers and preschool children. The project will take place on two-weekday mornings for two hours, most likely on Monday, and/or Wednesday, and/or Friday, between 9 am – 12 pm.

Dependent on the experience the compensation is $25-$30/hour. The project is slated to begin in April 2023. Please get in touch via Email if you are interested or want to learn more.
