Guitar player for “Never Can Say Goodbye: Beehive 70s”

Website Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre

Safety Standards (required): Our company uses the Community Standards for Theatre for Colorado

Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre, in Grand Lake, CO, is seeking a guitar player for our upcoming September show Never Can Say Goodbye. The 70’s Beehive Musical. It’s a new musical, similar to the original Beehive show, that had all 60’s music in it. It’ll be with a 5-piece band and a cast of 6.

It would be a 5-week gig.
First rehearsal is on Monday evening, Aug 31.
There would be rehearsal, sitz-probe, dress rehearsals on Tuesday, Weds, Thursday of that week, and it opens Friday, Sept 4.
There are performances that Friday/Sat/Sunday. (Sep 4/5/6…7:30 pm)
And then the performances are Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun matinee, for the rest of the month/run. No performances on Mon/Tues/Weds.
Housing is available for overnight stays, at no charge. Available whenever you’d like to use it. Probably/definitely that first week, for rehearsals, tech, dress, and opening.
Denver musicians frequently go home during each “interval” —the Mon/Tues/Weds when there are no shows.
Pay: $125 for each performance. There are 18 performances. Pay $100 for each rehearsal.
Ideally, seeking a player who can do the whole job, but if that doesn’t work out, we’re willing to explore sharing the job… but initially, I’d like to find someone who can do the whole gig.
