Fall 2026 teaching artists for after-school elementary classes

SEEKING TEACHING ARTISTS FOR FALL 2026!
Miners Alley hires outstanding teaching artists for our youth and adult education programs throughout each calendar year. We are currently hiring for elementary-age after-school teaching artist positions beginning work in September 2026. Positions currently available include:

Youth After-School Program Teachers
Classes are offered on-site at elementary and middle schools throughout the JeffCo Public Schools District. Schedule varies between 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. depending on bell schedules at individual schools. Pay rate for these positions is $40/hour.

We are seeking teachers for the following Fall session classes, beginning the week of September 8th with ending dates that vary through mid-November.

Acting Basics, grades 2-5, at Mitchell Elementary in Golden
Mondays, 3:35-4:35 p.m., September 8-November 3 (8-week class, no class 10/12)

Acting Basics, grades 3-5, at Jefferson Academy Coal Creek Canyon in Golden
Mondays, 3:35-4:35 p.m., September 14-November 9 (8-week class, no class 10/12)

Music & Movement, grades K-2, at Stevens Elementary in Golden
Wednesdays, 2:55-3:55 p.m., September 16- October 14 (5-week class)

Interviews will be scheduled, over Zoom, beginning Wednesday, August 26th. We will interview on a rolling basis until all Fall 2026 teaching positions are filled.
