High School Fall AUDITIONS

Auditions for MHYT’s Encore (High School) Fall 2026 productions of Lord of the Flies, Twelfth Night, and Evil Dead, The Musical: High School Version will be held at Mile High Youth Theatre, 940 Fillmore St.

High School actors are not required to audition for all three productions—please indicate your preferences in the google form here.

What to Prepare:

Actors auditioning for all three productions should prepare the following audition package:

Lord of the Flies — one 60-second contemporary monologue

Twelfth Night — one 60-second Shakespeare monologue

Evil Dead, The Musical: High School Version — 32 bars of a comedic song in the style of the show

Rehearsal schedules will vary by production.

$500 tuition charged upon casting.

MHYT is seeking actors ages 8–13 to fill several younger roles in our high school production of Lord of the Flies

Auditions for actors 8-13 will be SUBMISSION ONLY. Look over the submission info HERE. 

⚠️ Please note: Lord of the Flies is a high school production and includes mature themes and content. We are inviting younger actors to audition for specific roles within the production, so we encourage families to read the script and have a conversation about the material before submitting an audition.
