2023 EQUITY PRINCIPAL AUDITION NOTICE*

This EPA is being coordinated by Local Theater Company (LTC)’s internal casting department. LTC is an Actors’ Equity Association Small Professional Theater based in Boulder, CO dedicated to the discovery, development and production of new American theatrical works (plays, small-cast musicals and devised theater projects).

LTC is casting for Local Lab 12, our annual new play festival (April 24-30, 2023), held in Boulder, CO as well as Season 13 (June ‘23-May ‘24) productions (TBA June 2023) and Local Lab 13 (dates TBA).

Local Lab rate is $293 (SPT 1)

TO AUDITION:

All performers: Please prepare one or two 90-second contrasting contemporary monologues of your choice. We encourage you to select material that resonates with you and demonstrates your artistry. All in-person audition slots are seven minutes total.

IN PERSON: (Sun, Mar 12 & Sat, Mar 25) Actors who are able to audition in person are invited to select a time slot HERE. If you wish to request a later time slot than what’s available, please contact Nick Chase, artistic director, at nick@localtheaterco.org. Once you have selected a time slot, please fill out THIS form. Note: Two artistic directors, Nick Chase & Betty Hart, will be at this audition. Performances will be filmed and added to casting files.
