Seeking Dancers/Actors for a film project titled “Killer Burlesque” that is a mashup of a horror film with burlesque numbers. We are shooting a sizzle reel on Sunday, September 22nd so applicants must be available from 1pm-10pm that day. Pay is $150 plus dinner provided. 15 minute audition slots will be held Sunday, September 8th from 4-8pm and Monday evening September 9th if absolutely unavailable that Sunday. We are seeking one male actor (approximately 35-45 years old) with some dance experience and six female dancers/actors of all backgrounds including burlesque, ballet, modern, pole-dancing, and we would love one aerial dancer with their own equipment! The routines will be short for highlight reel purposes, but dancers must be comfortable dancing in outfits such as swimsuits and sexy Halloween-style costumes. There will be no nudity and dressing rooms are provided at the theater.

The goal is to use this sizzle reel to raise financing for a feature film so participants will be welcome to use the footage for their social media and have the opportunity to be called back for the feature production. The director and crew have worked with The Empire Strips Back, the internationally touring burlesque parody of Star Wars. We look forward to hearing from you!
