Synopsis: “When her sister Mina falls ill with a mysterious disease of the blood, Lucy Westfeldt and her fiancé Jonathan Harker enlist the help of famed female vampire hunter Doctor Jean Van Helsing. Their hunt for the dangerous and sexy Count Dracula abounds with clever wordplay and quick-change antics. Five actors play over a dozen roles.”

There are 9 shows, spanning 3 weekends: 10/9 – 10/25. Fri/Sat @ 7:30, Sun @ 2:00
Rehearsals begin September 1, Monday through Thursday evenings (not including Labor Day)
Encouraging all ethnicities, genders, and abilities to audition for all roles.

In-person auditions will be held on Sunday, June 28, 3 – 7 PM, or Monday, June 29, 6 – 8 PM. Anyone may audition without an appointment at Evergreen Players Studio, 27886 Meadow Drive, Evergreen.

Auditions open to ages 18+
Looking for 5 creative, energetic actors with great comic timing, capable of honest (not performative) acting in a variety of dialects and accents. Each actor will play multiple roles.
Actor 1 (Male) – Six characters including Jonathan Harper: RP British, Scottish, Texas, Irish, Cockney
Actor 2 (Female or Male) – Four characters, including Dr. Westfeldt: RP British, Cockney, Sea Capt or Pirate
Actor 3 (Female) – Four characters, including Lucy Westfeldt: RP British, Cockney, Slavic
Actor 4 (Male) – Three characters, including Mina Westfeldt and Dr. Van Helsing: RP British and German (ala Mel Brooks)
Actor 5 (Male) – Dracula: Slavic
Bring headshot and resume.
Prepare readings of your own materials in various accents (a Robert Burns poem, for instance). Tell the funniest joke you know that demonstrates your comic timing for the laugh.
Cold Readings possible.
Be prepared to list all conflicts.
Actors will receive a $100 stipend.
