When: August 1 & 2, 2022 at 7 pm. (Production Dates: October 28 – November 12, 2022)
Where: Coal Creek Theater of Louisville at the Louisville Center for the Arts, 801 Grant Ave. in Louisville, CO.
Every role in this play is vital to interpreting the way of life for migratory workers during the Great Depression in the period following the Dust Bowl. They address the social issues of the time period. We will be using the original language of the book and the era. We will not progress into a brighter future if we choose to ignore where we have been.

George: Male 25-50.
Lenny: Male 18-50.
Candy: Male 45 and up.
Crooks: Male 35 and up.
The Boss: Male 45 and up.
Curley: Male 20-40
Curley’s Wife: Female 18-30.
Slim: Male 40 and up.
Carlson: Male 30 and up.
Whit: Male 20 and up.
Minstrels: Ability to sing and/or play acoustic instruments of the time period is required. Please bring instrument(s) and one song to audition.
There will be cold readings of the script. No need to prepare anything unless wanting to be a minstrel. This is an open call. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, origin, religion, sex or orientation, gender expression, age, physicality or ability. We encourage diversity.
No Stipend. We are all volunteers.
Due to COVID-19, all participants must show proof of vaccination before entering the audition area. We will be working without masks. The doors will be closed one hour after the start of the audition. Late entry by advance notice only.
