Candlelight will be holding auditions for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers!

Auditions will take place on September 22nd, from 10am-6pm, with callbacks by invitation only on September 23rd from 10-6pm.

Please prepare: A resume and headshot, a 60 second song selection in the musical theater style and a 1 minute monologue.

We recommend auditioning in person if at all possible. However, if you are unable to attend and would like to still be considered, please reach out to kate@coloradocandlelight for video submission requirements. Please be aware that this is a non-equity regional theater production and the Candlelight does not provide housing to performers.

Due to the nature of this show, The Candlelight will audition male presenting performers age 15 to adult for this production. Female presenting performers ages 18+ only. This is a show that requires movement. We recommend attending the initial dance call unless auditioning only for Adam, or Non-Brother/Bride Townfolk, or if you are unable to attend the earlier call time. Once the dance portion is complete, we will have performers present their vocal and monologue selection. *DO NOT SIGN UP FOR AN ADDITIONAL SONG/MONOLOGUE AUDITION SLOT IF YOU ARE ALREADY ATTENDING THE DANCE CALL.*

Pay Rates
Young Professionals – 17 and under

$50 One-Time Rehearsal Pay
$15 per performance
Adults – 18 and older

$800 One-Time Rehearsal Pay
Pay starts at $69 per performance and increases based on the number of full production runs you have completed at Candlelight:
1st Production: $69/performance
3rd Production: $72/performance
5th Production: $78/performance
10th Production: $84/performance
