NOW CASTING: Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities Auditions for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella – Role of Jean Michel.

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, based in Arvada CO, is searching for talent to play the role of Jean Michel in an upcoming production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.

The Arvada Center Artistic Director is Lynne Collins.

AEA and non-union, local and non-local talent accepted.

Character Description:
Jean-Michel: (30 – 40) BIPOC, male identifying. A feisty, passionate peasant determined to make a change for the starving class. Impetuous. A firebrand, but lacks authority and isn’t taken seriously as a revolutionary. He has a crush on Gabrielle, though her courtship is forbidden because they are from different social classes. Range, Baritone C3-G4.

LORT B Contract–$1058 AEA minimum per week, and non union $700 to $900 per week.
