We’re Still Here: A New American Musical
November 24 @ 7:00 pm

Empathy Theatre Project’s brand-new musical explores themes of cultural preservation, indigenous rights, and rural poverty in America. When a proposed copper mine pits the preservation of sacred native land against the survival of local mining towns, two young leaders rise up to save their homes– and they form an unlikely bond. Co-authored by Mesquakie Tribal Elder Alex Walker Jr. and Cordelia Zars, ETP has created a powerful and educational production that amplifies indigenous voices and addresses the complexities of land conflict. Premiering Nov. 24- Dec. 3rd at the Dairy Arts Center.
