The Art of Acting I

Taught by award winning actor, director, educator, and Actor’s Equity Association Member Yuri Brusilovsky, this class will focus on the development of the actor’s technique of emotional experience. The Stanislavsky System, often referred to as Method Acting, defines a technique to develop an actor’s ability to create genuine emotions while performing; how an actor recalls real emotions on stage. This foundational class is designed to develop a basic knowledge of the elements of natural and organic acting.
