Seussical

Musique & Masque presents Seussical, the Tony-nominated musical that brings the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss to life on stage. The Cat in the Hat guides us through the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing the tiny planet of Who and vows to protect it against a jungle full of doubters. Along the way, Horton befriends JoJo, a Who with a big imagination, and is quietly adored by Gertrude McFuzz, whose one-feather tail makes her feel invisible. With music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, Seussical weaves together beloved characters from Horton Hears a Who!, Horton Hatches the Egg, McElligot’s Pool, and more into a fast, funny, heartfelt celebration of loyalty, imagination, and the power of a person, no matter how small.

Presented at Montview’s Miller Center by a Musique & Masque – a multigenerational company of Park Hill neighbors and friends.
