“Project 7 Sins” Claims Virtue is Overrated
Audacious Theatre gives the Seven Deadly Sins an immersive reboot
Technology is an incredible tool. But anyone with a Facebook knows it can be used for great good and great evil. Just look at our biggest tech companies which are helmed by people who may or may not be literal comic book villains.
This morally dubious world is where Audacious Theatre has chosen to set their latest Halloween immersive experience, “Project 7 Sins.”
In this show, audiences are invited to a swanky Halloween launch party for new and not-at-all-sketchy start-up Sinnovation. The swaggering founder hopes to draw investors with their groundbreaking new tech: a system that harnesses (and monetizes) the Seven Deadly Sins — possibly via some light demon summoning. But when the power goes out The Sins are freed. And the audience has to embrace their sinful side if they want to contain them once again.
“Project 7 Sins” marks Audacious Theatre’s 7th immersive horror production. This year, they’ve joined forces with local playwright Rebecca Gorman-O’Neill, who has created an original script which captures the horror, comedy, and cheek that is the signature of an Audacious Halloween event. What’s more, performances will take place in the luminescent and immersive setting of Lumonics Light and Sound Gallery.
“Project 7 Sins” will take place at Lumonics Light and Sound Gallery at 800 73rd Ave, Unit 11, Denver, CO 80229 from Friday, October 14 – Saturday, October 29th at 8PM. Previews run October 8 & 9 with discounted pricing. Early bird tickets start at $25 and space is limited. For tickets and more information, visit www.audacioustheatre.com.
