Making Waves

Miners Alley Performing Arts Center presents:
A staged reading of Making Waves, by Heather A. Beasley

Two environmental scientists and two Emmy-nominated screenwriters walk into a bar in Beverly Hills. Can they create a hit comedy to interest people in climate change who would never think about it otherwise? A play about a TV show about making kids’ short-form science videos, this satire sends up the ways we communicate, educate, and entertain.

This play was commissioned with support from The Ensemble Studio Theatre/ Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Science & Technology Project.

This one-night-only staged reading is free to attend, but seating is reserved.
