The Catamounts present a site-specific, In-Person theatrical journey through the history of Shoenberg Farm and the ways in which we take care of one another. Small, socially-distanced groups will travel through one of Westminster’s most historic properties, where the state’s agricultural, philanthropic, immigrant, and healthcare heritage once dynamically converged. Land of Milk and Honey explores themes of philanthropy, migration, the sanatorium movement, historical responses to health crises in America, the Jewish immigrant experience, and more through a series of indoor dramatic settings. Part ghost story, part time travel, and wholly a celebration of how humans can turn personal tragedy into an act of community compassion.
