Presented by Theatreworks, this poetic and inventive Pulitzer Prize-nominated play celebrates three generations of Puerto-Rican American veterans, and the woman – herself a nurse – who holds their family together. Tracking the family member’s deployments in three separate conflicts, Quiara Alegría Hudes (book writer of In The Heights) draws from interviews with her own military family to explore heritage, a legacy of service, and bonds forged across generations, through the stories they share, and the ones they can’t.
