CTG Presents – Breaking The Ice Workshop via ZOOM – Racial and Social Justice While Working in the Theatre – (Monday, April 19th, 2021)

This April CTG presents virtually via ZOOM, in partnership with IDEA Stages (Ideas), the first of an exciting three-part workshop series concerning racial and social justice while working in the theatre. Breaking the Ice: Racial and Social Justice in Theatre will have its first workshop on Monday, April 19th, 2021 at 6:30pm. This workshop is FREE for CTG Members. There will be facilitators and panelists made up of professionals and leaders in the Colorado theatre community. Part 1 of the series will explore “Definitions and Discoveries,” to help foster mutual understanding in the pursuit of social justice within the Colorado theatre community. In Part 2 (June 2021) “Community in Action” will seek to create social justice action as a theatre community. Part 3 (September 2021) explores “Healing and Recovery” and how drama therapy can be used to promote emotional and psychological healing for individuals and for the theatre community.
