Color Plates (stories set in a mysterious art museum) – live streaming performance – (Friday, April 9th, 2021 at 7pm)

April 9 @ 7:00 pm

Stories on Stage presents a live steaming performance of Adam Golaski’s Color Plates on Friday, April 9th, 2021 at 7pm. With the paintings’ imagery as their backdrop, performers Randy Moore, Anne Penner and Geoffrey Kent will read from Color Plates, a series of interrelated stories set in a mysterious art museum curated by a sort-of Mary Cassatt. Four rooms of Mary’s museum are open to the public, and they are named Edouard Manet, Edgar Degas, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and Mary Cassatt. Brushstroke upon brushstroke, line upon line, story upon story, the small fictions in Color Plates will engage and challenge you to consider the intersections between art and time.
