Campbell Davis has it all and has just been elected captain of her cheerleading squad at Truman High. But an unexpected redistricting sends her across town to underfunded Jackson High for her senior year. Jackson doesn’t have a cheer squad, but they do have a ruthless dance team. As Campbell navigates the ins and outs of the high-intensity cheerleading world, she also searches to find herself in a new world to which she does not belong.
