“Being Here” – monologues addressing current issues with In-Theatre Performances – (October 22nd – November 22nd, 2020)

An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Sunday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until November 22, 2020
Presented by The Betsy Stage in Denver, Being Here opens on October 22nd and runs through November 22nd, 2020. These are limited attendance, in-theatre performances. Being Here is a compilation of monologues chosen by the actors, that addresses issues such as homelessness, Black Lives Matter, global warming and real-world challenges we face. These stories will be told, from a variety of viewpoints, by Kaitlyn Althoff, James Brunt, Sydnee Fullmer, Adrienne Martin-Fullwood, Michael Gershtein, Todd Kadtke, Michal Meyer, Rekha Ohal, Erin Slimak, Artie Thompson, Asya Toney and Lisa Young.
A thought provoking hour of theatre – due to adult themes, this show is strongly recommended for ages 16 and older.

Seating is limited to 15 audience members per show
Tickets are $30 /recommended for ages 16+
Because the safety of the audience and the actors is of paramount importance to The Betsy Stage, this special run will include reduced capacity (only 15 seats available) with socially distanced seating between groups. Temperatures will be taken at the door and all audience members are asked to wear their face masks while inside the theater (the performers will be in face shields). You can be rest assured that the seats, bathroom and all high touch areas will be completely sanitized between each performance.
