Visionbox Summer Training Intensives for Highschool Students

SESSION ONE: Realism Intensive June 19 – June 30

We will be studying plays by Anton Chekhov and American writers such as Tennessee Williams, Arthur Miller, and Lillian Hellman.

SESSION TWO: Shakespeare Intensive July 10 – July 22

Focusing on scansion, acting poetry, and character in Shakespeare’s plays. Part of this Intensive will also focus on working on contemporary adaptations of one character in a Shakespeare play called Solo Shakespeare Projects.

SESSION THREE Intermedia Design Intensive July 24 – August 4

This is our newest training sequence, students will study high-level projection design, new technologies in theatre including projection mapping, VR and AR technologies, and how to integrate these into student-devised work.
